Filthy Figments is not just another adult comic book and strip site like many of those out there, but it is one where all the stories have been designed and written by female artists only!
With content that covers many different genres, including gay, lesbian, straight, transgender and many others besides, this is a great chance to see what goes on in the minds of female adult comic artists!
Review
Since our last review there are thousands more pages of erotic comics (4000+) on the site. There are 15 comics currently updating, and 51 more completed comics. They have 18 artists that have created for the site. Updates are made on an almost daily basis with over 100 pages added each month.
There is no doubt that when it comes to creative talents that women don’t get a fair shout in the adult industry, but rather than use this as a forum to complain about a lack of equality in adult entertainment, I want to mention just how excellent the content is on Filthy Figments. You see, this is a site that makes its point by featuring pretty much the best adult comic strips that I think I have ever seen on an adult paysite. That is just how good it is.
The styles are fabulously varied, influenced by anything from anime and Manga to British children’s comics like The Beano and so on. It’s a fabulous styles clash which only goes to enhance the sheer level of talent that is clearly on show here, as well as the great ideas. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m really not a comic book fan at all, but here is a site that could well win round even the staunchest anti-comic critic!
New features have been added to the site since our last review: There are now thumbsup reviews, tagging, and a more functional members section. They have also migrated to a cloud hosting platform for greater page load speed.
User Interface
The presentation here is very good indeed, and certainly a level above that which I have seen on most sites of this kind to date. The excellent update information is complimented by good descriptions of each comic and an excellent level of categorisation on the comics. What also helps the site is the fact that they even have an index of the artists that are on the site – something that I think that anyone who becomes enamoured by a particular style will enjoy.
Conclusion
Filthy Figments is a fabulous site that is not only worthy of greater publicity and attention, but one that deserves such attention as one of the very best adult comic story sites around. It has shown very nice growth since our last review.
Its basis of female talent certainly leads to some very rarely seen ideas and stories, and was a refreshing change from the usual sites of this kind. And at $15 per month, it’s a bargain, it really is.
