Porn Sites Lead Web Growth

If you ever needed any evidence that porn rules, then such evidence is, erm, evident in a recent article published about the fastest growing websites in December.

Said article claims that four of the top five sites in terms of growth last month just happened to be pornographic. Personally, I’m surprised porn didn’t get the full house.

Amongst the sites in question are:-

RedTube, a video download site that is pretty much indistinguishable from YouPorn, and I’m sure won’t be the last site of its type.

IAmFreeTonight is a free adult dating site but something of a misnomer. Sites like this tend to be very successful at the start but wane in popularity after a while.

YouPorn is a site that I mentioned before. Ooh, how good am I’!

The fact is that the internet NEEDS porn. Service providers can make all the noises they want about trying to keep filth off their networks. But the fact of the matter is that when porn is as big as it is, if they keep it off their servers then they lose a hell of a lot of business.
