Today was an enlightening day for me. I was checking out porn stars on New Sensations when I ran across Sasha Grey. Curious as to what happened to this huge porn star, I then decided to see what she was up to. Well, apparently she is now a novelist!!

I know that some of you may not be familiar with Sasha Grey and what she has accomplished, so let me tell you a little bit about her first. Before I get into her new career as a novelist. Sasha Grey, whose real name is Marina Ann Hantzis, was born in 1988 in Northern California. The moment she turned 18 she entered the porn industry and the rest is history.

She has appeared on numerous porn sites, including but not limited to New Sensations, Evil Angel and Twistys. She appeared in numerous porn movies and she won several AVN awards. These include awards for Best Group Sex Scene and Best Oral Sex Scene. Then she tried to make a transition into mainstream acting.

She appeared in a couple episodes of Entourage, and even in an ad for PETA, but her real acting success came when she played Chelsea in the Steven Soderbergh film called The Girlfriend Experience. This is when I lost track of what she was doing with her life. Although I had lost track of her, she apparently has kept busy.

Sasha made several attempts at writing screenplays, but a career as a screenwriter never materialized for her. She then turned her sites on writing a book. An erotic novel in the vein of Fifty Shades of Grey. I haven’t had the chance to read her book, which is titled The Juliette Society, but I probably will at some point. From porn to novels, who would have ever thought that was possible’

Of course, porn has changed and has become quite mainstream. There isn’t a stigma attached to it like there once was, so it’s really not all that surprising that Sasha Grey would be able to jump from porn into the literary world. Hopefully, this will be a successful chapter in this pornstar’s life, and I honest think it will be. After all, Hollywood has already snatched up the film rights.

I must admit, however, that it fills me with a sense of sadness. Sasha Grey was one of my favorite porn stars of all time. She had an aggressive fucking style that was unlike any of her contemporaries. She really showed that porn stars could not only be beautiful but could also hold all the cards and direct their destiny. And now she is doing it again. I may never get to see that again, at least not in new sex scenes. Sure, I could always visit a site such as Twistys if I get nostalgic, but it does pain me that she will never be in another sex scene again. Instead, her sexual skills are going to be applied to the written page.

I wish Sasha Grey all the luck in the world. She is only 25 and she is already making a place for herself in the world. I guess in the future we can only expect great things from this porn star, actress, model and now novelist.
