Homosexual and heterosexual Americans alike should stand together and work for what is a basic human right. The right of two people who love each other to marry.

The argument against same-sex marriage is one that I simply don’t understand. It is something that is just spurred on by prejudice and ignorance. Opponents of same-sex marriage are just looking for any excuse to try to “punish” same-sex partners. Out of one side of their mouth they are saying same-sex marriage is immoral, and out the other side of their mouth they are saying that gays shouldn’t have the right to marry. Why the fuck not’ Who knows. In fact, I am not even sure the opponents of same-sex marriage know themselves. They just want to be ignorant fucks I guess.

Gay partners should have a right to marry like anyone else. It is really sickening that in 2012, people are still trying to regulate what other people are doing in the privacy of their own bedrooms. Hopefully, that will change. After all, at one point in time interracial relationships were illegal and considered to be against God’s plan. Now, it is commonplace. I can only hope that eventually the prejudices against same-sex marriage will eventually fade away.
