Mobile Porn Addictive?

Recently, there have been several lawsuits against the creators of mobile devices. One of the more popular ones is against Apple concerning their Ipad. These suits claim that mobile porn is addictive and should be filtered. I always knew there was a reason I loved Bangbros Network Mobile.

This litagation claim that mobile porn sites are addictive and that these companies should install filters to protect people from themselves. Personally, I think these cases are all about trying to make a little money, but it does beg a question. Is porn, particular mobile porn, addictive’ I don’t think so.

Look, I visit, on average, probably about a 100 porn sites a week. Dozens of them a day. I do it mostly in a professional capacity, but I do enjoy porn as a little treat for myself as well. If I’m away from a computer, I have no problem using my phone to visit sites such as Bangbros Network Mobile. I like it.

However, I never feel the compulsion to visit these sites. When I take my yearly vacation, I don’t visit any porn sites during that time. And you know what’ I never had withdrawals. I never felt like I had to see porn or I was going to go crazy.

I guess that porn addiction can theoretically exist. After all, people get addicted to all sorts of things. People can become addicted to fast food, drugs, alcohol, sex, and just about anything that brings pleasure. So I guess it happens in theory, but I still have my doubts.

Whether or not I think the problem exists, however, there is one thing I know for sure. Apple, or any other mobile device maker, shouldn’t be forced to install filters on their mobile phones or Mobile equipped tablets to filter out sites such as Reality Kings Mobile. I just don’t agree with it at all.

Imagine if every company was forced to strictly control the products they were selling because it was found to be addictive. Fast food chains could limit hamburgers, soda manufacturers could limit soda. Hell, if someone said they were addicted to bean sprouts, what are we going to do, make them limit people’s access’ As you can see, it gets really ridiculous really fast.

My solution for the perpetrators of these suits is real simple. If you can’t handle having a computer with internet access, or a phone with internet access, then don’t have them in the first place. That sounds the problem right there.

Of course, these people would probably say they need their phone for work or something. So I have another suggestion. Download one of the dozens of apps out there that are designed to filter the content for you. Don’t try to force a company to do it for you. Once you limiting the rights of people, then it’s a slippery slope my friends.

Personally, I’m going to continue to use my Mobile WTF Pass. Not because I have to, but because I want to. Because hot girls having hardcore sex on your phone is priceless.
