Forbidden Fruits Films is the award winning official site of the porn studio of the same name. Nominated for prominent upcoming 2017 AVN and XBiz awards, this site is a class above the rest.
It prides itself in being one of the very best around when it comes to taboo erotica across several different genres, and is available to watch on Roku as well as offering access to the entire studio library.
Review
This site currently features a total of 101 movies (526 scenes) and 93 photo galleries, with photos usually sized at 1000×750 but with none of the galleries available in a ZIP file download on this site. The videos are available in Flash to stream only. The best quality versions of the videos usually display at Ultra 4K HD quality. The current update schedule sees one scene added every 6 or 7 days.
Forbidden Fruits Films is one of a number of porn studios around which are looking to take a more erotica based approach to genres that have been a staple of porn for decades now. With more of a feel for a female-oriented and ethical approach to lesbian, hardcore and taboo porn, this may well have a different feel from the big studio porn and porn sites you will have experienced, but there can be no better place to start if you’re looking for porn with a different perspective.
There is also a really impressive array of stars that have worked for this studio over the last couple of years or so – 113 in all at the time of review, and it was especially interesting to me that there was a notable focus on older stars at times. The quality across the board really is very impressive indeed and it’s also worth noting that that there is a bonus to be had here in the form of complete access to the official website of Jodi West – and that’s a site you will want to see too! She is probably the most widely seen star on this site, so if you are a fan of her then you are going to be very well catered for.
User Interface
The navigation on the site was by and large quite good. I thought the design wasn’t quite as high quality as expected plus having to hover over the thumbnails on the performer page to see who they are was slightly irritating.
In addition to that, the browsing options on the videos and photo galleries were not very extensive due to a lack of downloads, but by and large the site worked pretty well and you should have no other issues with it.
Conclusion
Forbidden Fruits Films is a website that should be a terrific introduction to one of the most interesting and enjoyable studios around, even if there were tweaks to its navigation that it could do with.
In terms of stepping into a new generation of porn, one that is more centred around a female perspective both in terms of performers and viewers, there aren’t many better around right now.
