Dr Susan Block has been presenting a live sex show, both on radio and via this, her official website, for quite some time now – and this is your opportunity to be a part of it all!
This site carries her Saturday night live shows but, perhaps as importantly, also includes recordings of all of her previous live sex shows that happen to feature some of the biggest names in the porn industry right now!
Review
This site features 38 videos (these are a mixture of full length shows and shorter clips) and 67 photo galleries, with photos sized at a highest size of 1167×1750 but with no ZIP files enabled on any of the galleries. The videos are available in Flash, WMV and MP4 formats for streaming and downloading and usually display at a best of a HD 1280×720 (5500kbps). Updates are made once or twice a week.
Dr Susan Block is genuinely one of the most fascinating and interesting people in the adult industry. In an industry that is all too quick to embrace thoughtless and idiotically crass content all too often, Block’s thoughtful and analytical approach has been a breath of fresh air for a number of years, especially for those who take porn a little more seriously and like to think about it a little more. But her site is a genuine delight all by itself for many reasons.
The site is less about the spoken word and analysis and more about the action. Her live shows are tremendous fun and that comes across in their recordings as well, and while they are wild they are never ‘extreme’ and shot through with the worry on the part of some viewers that people taking part might be overly uncomfortable with what they are doing. Everyone here is clearly having a blast, as you would expect from a lady who advocates ethical fun and hedonism in sex. This site is a perfect microcosm of those views, and a fascinating experience.
User Interface
The presentation of the site sees things kept relatively simple when it comes to the organisation of the content with simple video and photo sections really all that it needs.
The descriptions of the scenes and galleries as well as the lists of all the performers who appear in them are really good and really important. Update information is very good and, crucially, there does seem to be a relatively decent level of interaction with the good doctor herself.
Conclusion
Dr Susan Block is, for me, one of the most fascinating sites in internet pornography right now and could be about as close to being ‘important’ as an internet porn site could possibly hope to be.
As likely to appeal to people imply looking for just a really wild time with live shows and recorded content as it is to those looking for a more cerebral approach to porn, this is a truly wonderful site from a thoroughly admirable personality.
