There are all the usual elements you would expect from a gothy, fetish site but Minx Addiction takes the genre to a whole new level. Far more creative than many of its counterparts, the photo galleries’have a twisted tale behind each one.
To give you a taste of just what’s in store, amongst the galleries are ones named ‘Playing with Knives’, ‘Toxic December’ (in which Minx actually makes a gas mask look sexy) and ‘Kill Your TV’, featuring Minx’s possession by her television set!
MinxAddiction.com currently features around 200 photo galleries at this moment in time, with images varying in size but normally being high definition and with ZIP downloads of galleries available. The videos, of which there are currently around 49 20, usually display in WMV format and generally can be viewed at a best resolution of 720×480 (1300kbps). The update schedule is not known.
When’this site’arrived at our door and was hailed as potentially ‘will become one of the strongest alternative fetish model sites’ and that it was ‘wickedly creative’. We also said that we’d have liked to have seen some videos from it as well, and that’s exactly what we’ve got. But the site has improved in many ways and continued on with its good points. For a start, the videos that are now being added on a semi-regular basis actually add something to the site and aren’t just here to make up the numbers.
Minx shows off great charisma and presence in front of the cameras that really will leave you gasping for more videos, but the photo galleries bring out her experimental side to the point that she’s even been featured in a couple of shoots and videos for Playboy. This girl is going big time and it’s not difficult to see why.
There are plenty of other extras. There’s an excellent candid section with behind-the-scenes photo galleries, a peek into Minx’s private life and a look back to her amateur days as well as bonus material such as fan art, a journal and contests for members.
User Interface
The site continues to be intelligently organised and presented, with a design and layout that compliments the tone of the content almost perfectly. With content organised into sections depending on the period of her career and indeed sections for videos and behind-the-scenes footage, it doesn’t just opt for the obvious navigation.
The videos were slow to download unfortunately, but this is an issue that I reckon could easily be solved, whilst the personal touches on the site as well as dates for the content are important pieces of information. There’s nothing here that will hinder your browsing experience and you’ll find it easy to explore everything Minx has to offer.
Conclusion
There’s nothing clich’d about Minx Addiction. Fetish is taken to a whole new level and if you’ve been looking for a site that’s unashamedly arty and wickedly creative then this is definitely the kind of place you should be looking at.’This is a site that has improved very impressively since our initial review, with hard work and experimentation working out extremely well for one of the best fetish artists I’ve seen around.
The addition of videos is a key turning point for the site too, allowing Minx to fully show off her range of talents and play around in different areas too. Not all addictions are bad, you know, and if you’re going to take one up, then Minx Addiction might just be the way to go!
