HonestPornReviews respects the intellectual property of others and responds to valid notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. Please read this page before sending a notice: most requests we receive are about content on websites that are not ours.
We Do Not Host the Websites We Review
HonestPornReviews is an independent review site. The websites we review, link to and compare are separate businesses owned and run by other companies. They are not us, we do not host them, and we have no control over what they publish. We are not the producer, owner or distributor of the videos, photos or other content on those sites.
If your copyrighted material appears on one of the websites we review, we cannot remove it. Send your notice directly to that website, using the DMCA or contact details on the site itself. Removing our review or our link would not remove the material from their site.
Material on This Site
What we do publish on HonestPornReviews is our own writing and a small number of promotional images and screenshots used to illustrate our reviews. If you believe something on one of our own pages infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent that includes:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The exact URL of each page on HonestPornReviews where the material appears, and a description of the material.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
We will review complete notices promptly and remove or disable access to the material where appropriate. Incomplete notices, or notices about content on other websites, may not receive a response.
Counter-Notices
If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with your signature, identification of the removed material and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed by mistake, and your name, address and telephone number with consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district. We may restore the material unless the original complainant files a court action within 10 business days.
