The Yaoi Movie Archive is a gay manga site that promises to deliver some very hot and hardcore animated porn action. On this site, members are treated to young men in animated action that features everything from older men fucking smooth twinks to sexual acts that border on the fantastic.
This porn site features content that originally started in Japan, but has since become very popular in the West. And it is quite easy to see why. This porn site presents movies and pictures that easily immerse the viewer in all of the high octane and erotic action they offer.
Review
At the time of this review, this site had 163 videos and 23 picture galleries available to members. The videos can be streamed in the Flash format with a resolution of 576×432 @ 800 Kbps or downloaded in the AVI format with a maximum resolution of 700×400 pixels @ 1200 Kbps, although the majority of them seem to play at 640×480 @ 1200 Kbps. Each movie runs about 25 minutes and there is no DRM protection. The picture galleries each have about 75-80 pictures on average and the pictures have a maximum resolution of 1024×768 pixels. Picture galleries can be downloaded in a zip file.
The first thing that I would like to mention about this site is that the content is not exclusive, it it taken from other sources; namely, popular Japanese Yaoi porn DVDs. This is really not a big concern since most Yaoi, Hentai and Anime sites feature content that isn’t exlusive to them, but I do feel that it is something that needs to be mentioned. It also should be mentioned that a few of the movies feature heterosexual content and some of the movies are just plain anime content that doesn’t provide much, if any, sexual content. In fact, there are quite a few that are in the fantasy or horror niche and don’t contain sexual content.
Another thing that needs to be mentioned is the blurring of the gentalia of the participants. Now, if you are familiar with Hentai or Yaoi porn, then you are probably already aware of this practice. It is a common one. However, if you think that it dampens the sexual intensity of this site, then I beg to differ. The action on Yaoi Movie Archive, at least in the ones that provide sexual content, is pretty hot. It features some unique sexual situations that you just couldn’t have in real life. As with most Yaoi movies, they center themselves around older men introducing twinks to the world of ass fucking, cocksucking and on occassion, domination. The movies build slowly, but when they reach their peak they really can be explosive.
Members of this site get access to 5 bonus sites. These are Hentai Video World, Hentai Niches, 3D Hentai Video, Hentai Pics World and Planet ComiXXX.
User Interface
The member’s area of this site is fairly straight forward. Actually, it can be called simplistic. There are easy to find links to the movies, pictures and bonus content, but that is about it. There is no search features and some of the content isn’t adequately marked, as far as what to expect from the content.
This means that members might spend a lot more time than they should watching large chunks of movies before they decide they want to watch something else. The content on this site isn’t date-stamped and their is no posted update schedule, so it’s hard to tell what kind of update schedule this site has, or even if the site is still updating.
Conclusion
This site isn’t without its problems. I would have liked to have seen more sexually oriented content and some kind of clue as far as it concerns their update schedule, but I think all things considered that this is a pretty decent site. It does have a few positive things going for it.
This site has videos that stream well and download speeds are pretty good. Combine this with the fact that this site has a pretty decent collection of videos and that some of these videos can be extremely hot at times, and I think that Yaoi Movie Archive is a site that is worth at least a look.
