Born on March 4, 1985, in Sydney, Australia, Angela grew up first in Central Sydney, then moved with her family to a farm in Victoria, and later to Australia’s East Coast during her high school years. The eldest child in a large family, she was raised by a photographer mother and a carpenter father, a pairing of creativity and craftsmanship that feels almost symbolic in hindsight.
Angela first entered the industry at age 18 in 2003, beginning with nude modeling while still in high school. Her debut studio was The Score Group, a company that quickly recognized her natural curves and screen presence.
In her own words: ‘I saw porn for the first time at age 14 and from that point on I wanted to get into the industry. I had been slut-shamed for my sexuality in high school and the adult industry seemed like a space in which my sexuality would finally be celebrated. I waited until I was 18 years old and sent some nude photos to The Score Group in Miami, Florida. They showed interest in my natural curves straightaway and flew me to the States to begin shooting. I’ve never looked back.’
While building her modeling career, Angela pursued higher education. She began attending college in 2005 and graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2010 with First Class Honors in Gender Studies. Her academic focus examined women’s experiences in the adult industry, positioning her as one of the most intellectually outspoken voices in the space.
She has also spoken candidly about stigma: ‘There is a lot of stigma attached to being a woman who embraces her sexuality regardless of whether or not she is in the adult industry. I was aware that there may be consequences of entering the adult industry. But I was also aware that there are consequences of not living an honest life, following your dreams, and indulging in your passions.’
In autumn 2013, Angela launched her official website, angelawhite.com, and later established her own production company, AGW Entertainment B.V., cementing her transition from performer to entrepreneur.
She also stepped into politics, running as a candidate for the Australian Sex Party in the 2010 Victorian state election, advocating for sex worker rights and industry reform.
