Today I was checking out some of my favorite pornstars on Stunners and decided to do a little research into how much money is made by women working in the adult industry. After a little bit of research I noticed something very startling. Female porn actresses make 6 times more than their male counterparts. Needless to say I was flabbergasted.

Can you imagine working in an industry where one gender makes 6 times more than another gender. Your run-of-the-mill female pornstar can make around $250,000 per year. Your ordinary male pornstar makes approximately $40,000 per year. That is quite a difference in price my friends.

Why is that the case’ I really don’t have any hard facts on that, but I do have a couple of theories. My first theory is that there are probably more men willing to do porn than women. That would certainly drive up the actresses salaries as different porn companies competed for their services. Another theory that I have is that it is the women who are really in demand by us consumers and not the guys. My last theory is that women are more versatile than men and are therfore more of a commodity. In fact, the truth is that it is probably some combination of these three things, but let me take a second to talk about women’s versatility as it pertains to porn.

I was looking over Stunners and was blown away by the beautiful women, but I was also blown away by the range of different sexual acts that the women performed. Some of the pornstars just showed off their luscious bodies, while others took it a step further. These ladies could suck dick, engage in lesbian sex, masturbate on camera, and of course get fucked silly. This is probably the most likely reason for female pornstar salaries.

Think about it. If a male performer is doing heterosexual porn then how many different acts can he do’ He can get his cock sucked, or fuck a chick. If a male performer is willing to go gay for pay his options open up a little, but not very much. This makes female pornstars a lot more versatile than male pornstars. That is just the way it is.

And really I can’t complain all that much. I spent a large portion of my afternoon checking out the incredible pornstars on this site and really think that they are worth every dollar they make. Without these beautiful babes working in porn, then a lot of us guys would have little to look forward to in these tough times. Thank you pornstars!!
